ODU Scholarship Packages
As a traditional undergraduate student at Ohio Dominican – whether you're a first-time freshmen or a transfer – you have access to numerous opportunities to earn additional scholarship aid to help make the cost of an ODU education even more affordable. No matter what your interests are, chances are there’s a scholarship that’s perfect for you!

bring your musical talents to ODU? Ohio Dominican offers a range of scholarship opportunities
that connect to students' interests in and outside of the classroom. We also offer
need-based scholarships for eligible students through our Panther Promise and Columbus
Catholic Promise programs. If any of the scholarships below seem right for you, ask

Academic Program Scholarships
Choose Ohio First
The Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program is a state-funded program aimed at graduating more students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM).
Intel Scholarship
Ohio Dominican is proud to partner with Intel to offer Data Analytics Majors a $2,000 scholarship to equip students with skills that support Ohio’s growing semiconductor workforce.
Noyce Teacher Scholarship
Funded by the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, the Noyce Scholarship provides tuition funds to students who aspire to teach biology (life science), mathematics or chemistry in secondary schools located in underserved communities.
St. Albert Scholars Program
ODU's St. Albert Scholars Program is a National Science Foundation-funded initiative to help increase enrollment, retention and success off students majoring in Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science.

ODU Promise Scholarships
Both our Panther Promise and Columbus Catholic Promise programs provide eligible students who meet certain academic requirements and are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant with a scholarship that, when combined with other financial resources, may completely cover your ODU tuition. Panther Promise
Ohio Dominican is proud to partner with I Know I Can to offer its Panther Promise Program, which provides students from Columbus City Schools, Reynoldsburg City Schools, South-Western City Schools and Whitehall City Schools with financial resources and support to help make an ODU education attainable.
Catholic Promise
Ohio Dominican has partnered with the Diocese of Columbus to create the Columbus Catholic Promise Program. The program provides eligible students who graduate from one of the Columbus Diocese’s 11 high schools with financial resources and support to help make an ODU education attainable.
Additional Scholarships
An endowed scholarship is established with funds received from external donors. It
can be either merit-based or need-based depending on donor preferences.
Students do not apply for these scholarships. The ODU Financial Aid Office matches
qualifying students to these scholarships each year.

Ohio Dominican University offers its Catholic High Schools Scholarship to support students graduating from Catholic high schools in Ohio. To qualify, students must:
- Be accepted to ODU beginning with the 2025 Fall semester and enroll as a full-time student.
- Graduate from any accredited Catholic high school in Ohio
The scholarship is for incoming students only and is renewable for up to four years,
as long as students maintain their good academic standing.
This scholarship provides students up to $8000 each year ($4000 each semester) in
addition to the ODU Merit Scholarship package.
The Catholic high schools scholarship will not exceed tuition and the student services fee in combination with other grants and scholarships such as federal and state grants as well as other ODU financial aid including the merit scholarship, honors scholarship, band grant, choir grant, cheerleading grant, etc.
