Get Involved

Studying in the United States is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. International students at ODU are involved in every part of campus life, and we want to help you make the most of your university experience.

World Student Club

The World Student Club is a student-led organization for international and American students alike. Our main goals are to help international students as they adjust to their new like in the United States and to promote cultural awareness on campus.

To learn about meeting times and upcoming events, contact the WSC leadership at worldstudentclub@ohiodominican.edu and follow up on Instagram.

Center for Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement sponsors cultural, educational, and entertainment activities, helps develop student leaders, and coordinates activities with student organizations. Visit the Center for Student Involvement to learn more about ODU’s clubs and leadership opportunities!

On-Campus Employment

Working on campus is a great way to gain professional experience and be involved in our campus community. F-1 visa holders do not require additional authorization to pursue on-campus employment, but you are responsible for following all rules and regulations concerning F-1 student employment. Visit the Financial Aid office to learn about on-campus employment opportunities, and be sure to attend the Work Study Fair at the start of the year.
