At Ohio Dominican, you can tailor your graduate business degree to match your professional goals. Get the most out of your graduate studies by choosing one of seven high-demand concentrations. You also have the option of pursuing a general MBA without an area of concentration.

You may select one of seven concentrations, but you do not need to select a concentration to earn a general MBA. Instead, you will take any two additional courses (6 credit hours).
Healthcare Administration
The Healthcare Administration Concentration in the MBA Program is designed to develop skills required for managerial positions in healthcare organizations. Courses in the concentration emphasize knowledge of healthcare law, regulations, economics, strong leadership and analytical skills, and ethical decision making in the healthcare field.

Data Analytics
The Data Analytics Concentration in the MBA Program is designed to prepare students for a successful career as a data scientist in addition to leading teams of data scientists and other analytics groups within an organization. The concentration retains the strong MBA core course sequence while substituting two courses specifically designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of data modeling, the most common data analytics methodologies and software, and data structures pervasive in all industries.

Risk Management
The Risk Management Concentration in the MBA Program is designed to support the effective
development of aspiring Risk Management and Insurance leaders. The concentration focuses
on strategic management and leadership; enterprise risk management issues related
to identifying and effective addressing organizational risks including financial,
strategic, pure loss and economic risks; and data modeling.
The concentration retains the strong MBA core course sequence while substituting two
courses specifically designed for those wishing to expand their capacity to lead entities
as well as those seeking entry into the insurance and risk management industries.

The Finance Concentration in the MBA Program is designed to enable students to gain
a deeper knowledge in areas such as: financial modeling, behavioral finance, and the
role of global financial markets and institutions and their effect on the global economy.
This concentration is designed to benefit any student with an undergraduate degree
in business, accounting, or finance.

The Accounting Concentration in the MBA Program can help give students a professional

the concentration will help make credentials stand out. This concentration focuses
on skills and knowledge directly relevant to the workplace and the courses are taught
by faculty with demonstrated professional expertise and leadership in accounting.
This program was developed for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting,
although non-accounting majors could benefit from the concentration.

Leadership
The Leadership Concentration in the MBA Program is designed to enhance the learner’s
leadership effectiveness. Students will study leadership concepts, analyze leadership
situations, and assess their own skill set to develop a professional development plan
in the area of leadership.
The concentration is formatted to allow the student to select courses that address
contemporary topics in leadership with the focus on building and growing their skill
set in the areas of critical thinking, analysis, reasoning, judgment and application
of the concepts studied.

Sport Management
The Sport Management Concentration in the MBA Program is designed for students who
wish to acquire additional knowledge and skills relevant to working in the dynamic
and growing field of sport. Students will select two courses from the list below.
Options include courses grounded in the social sciences relevant to sport (e.g. Sport
Psychology) and courses that extend business functional areas into the sport context
(e.g. Sport Marketing).
