ODU's Graphic Design students develop critical thinking and their technical skill and abilities by exploring the graphic design process and problem-solving methodologies. This development gives graduates an edge when pursuing careers in art, design and other creative fields.
Program Highlights
- Major and minor available in Graphic Design.
- 24-hour access to a dedicated art and design computer lab, and multiple venues for open studio space.
- ODU's Wehrle Art Gallery functions as a lab for the program. Students curate, design and install exhibitions as well as exhibit their own work.
- Annual Senior Exhibition allows art and design seniors to select, research, produce and exhibit an extensive professional design project.

to participate in one or more internships with a variety of companies and organizations.
Students can also find on-campus internships in University departments.
These hand-on experiences help graduates land jobs in writing, editing, public relations,
marketing and communications positions in Central Ohio and beyond.
