A Community That Welcomes, Accepts & Celebrates All

Ohio Dominican University is committed to being a place where all individuals feel welcomed, included and valued. By developing campus activities and educational programming, combined with ODU’s Culture of Care, we aspire to foster an environment that promotes acceptance and values inclusivity for all who live, learn and work at ODU.

Leading This Work: ODU’s Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Committee

To lead this important work, ODU’s Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Committee is made of up individuals representing all areas of the university community. This Committee meets regularly and reports directly to ODU’s president to ensure attention is given toward issues related to compliance and steps that can be taken to ensure a streamlined and strategic approach in terms of how we, as a community, can support a truly inclusive culture across campus. While the JEDI Committee leads this effort, the work, if it’s to be successful, requires the entire campus community believing, innovating, talking and walking this journey over time.
