Ohio Dominican is just minutes from downtown Columbus, where students have the opportunity to participate in one or more internships with a variety of companies and organizations. Central Ohio enjoys a diverse economy with many internship possibilities in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Ohio Dominican's faculty and Career Development Center are eager to help interested students secure relevant internship experiences.

Dr. Blake Mathys, Director of the Environmental Science program, has tracked birds, vertebrates and more on campus during field trips with his ecology, biology and environmental science classes, as well as exploring on his own.

The ODU Experience

At Ohio Dominican University, the Environmental Science curriculum is taught in the classroom and in nature, all without having to leave campus! We have the benefit of a campus with woodlands and streams, allowing students to gain firsthand experience with natural systems and the living organisms that inhabit them.
