Students can begin and complete the college search process in just 30 minutes.

Central Ohio high school students will have an opportunity to begin and complete their college search during Ohio Dominican University’s Instant Admit Day on Monday, Oct. 9. Prospective students and their families are invited to visit ODU’s Bishop James A. Griffin Student Center anytime from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. The student center is located on ODU’s campus at 1215 Sunbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219.

During Instant Admit Day, students will have an opportunity to complete a free application to ODU, receive an on-the-spot admission decision, file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit their deposit to secure their spot in an upcoming entering class – all within a matter of 30 minutes as long as they have a printed or digital copy of their transcripts. This special event is for all high school and transfer students who are interested in enrolling at ODU for either the spring or fall 2024 semesters. Attendees also will be able to take a tour of ODU’s campus and speak with students, faculty and staff about Ohio Dominican’s academic programs and student life.

Participating students should bring with them a printed or electronic copy of their high school transcripts.

To register for the event, attendees should visit ohiodominican.edu/Visit.

“We know that the college search process can be intense, especially for soon-to-be high school graduates and their families, so it’s our goal to make this process as simple and seamless as possible,” said Kaylee Meade, ODU’s Director of Undergraduate Admission. “What makes Instant Admit Day so unique is that a student can literally begin and complete this process on the same day, allowing them to focus on completing their high school career on the very best note possible while preparing for their future success at Ohio Dominican.”
