Ohio Dominican University (ODU) celebrated its Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Class of 2024 during a White Coat Ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The event marked a significant milestone for the 46 graduates as they prepare to enter the healthcare workforce, joining the ranks of ODU’s 488 Physician Assistant alumni.
The ceremony, which signifies the students’ transition from academics to clinical practice, recognized ODU’s 11th graduating Physician Assistant class. Together, the students contributed more than 850 service hours during their time in the program and completed over 65,000 patient encounters during their clinical rotations.
Student awards were presented during the ceremony to honor exceptional accomplishments and contributions:
- Panther Service Award: Emma Whitsett
- ImPAct Award: Sean Marin
- Preceptor of the Year: Ashley Leutze, MSPAS, PA-C
