Ohio Dominican University will hold its 115th Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Approximately 200 students will have degrees conferred upon them as they are joined by ODU faculty, staff, alumni, and hundreds of family and friends.

For the first time in over a decade, Commencement will take place outdoors on the Oval in front of ODU’s main academic building, Erskine Hall. Baccalaureate Mass will take place at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Chapel, located on the first floor of Sansbury Hall. Click here for more information.

“Commencement is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and celebrate an important milestone in our graduates’ lives,” said ODU President Connie Gallaher. “The tireless work these students have put toward their academic success, professional preparedness and individual growth has been ever so impressive and it gives me great joy to know the role ODU has had in their journey. This year, we’re pleased to take additional steps to ensure this celebration remains student-focused by featuring remarks by two members from this year’s graduating class – a student who has completed their bachelor’s degree and a student who has completed their master’s degree. I am excited for us to showcase our new graduates in a way that helps to demonstrate the tremendous pride we have for their accomplishments.”
