ODU Hosts Second Annual Alumni Panther 5K Run and Walk

Columbus, OH Ohio Dominican University (ODU) invites alumni and their families to the second annual ODU Alumni Panther 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, April 26, on its main campus at 1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, 43219. 

The schedule is as follows. 

  • 8 a.m. – Pick up registration packets at the Bishop James A. Griffin Student Center 
  • 8:45 a.m. – Pre-race Kickoff & Mascot 50-Yard Dash
  • 9 a.m. –  Competitive 5K Walk/Run & Physician Assistant Health Fair begins 
  • 9:15 a.m. – Non-competitive 5K Run/Walk begins

The event will begin and end at the Griffin student center. The course includes two laps around the ODU campus. 

Students in ODU’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program also will host a health fair before and after the race. 

“The Alumni Association Council is very excited to again welcome alumni and their families back to ODU for our second annual 5K race,” said Ann Snider, ODU’s director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving. “Last year’s inaugural event was an overwhelming success. We can’t wait for our alumni to see our beautiful campus in the spring, while also promoting health and wellness.” 

Early registration costs $25 and ends Feb. 28. Regular registration costs $35 and runs from March 1 to April 21. Children 12 and under can participate in the mascot race free of charge.
