Sister JoAnn Hohenbrink, Assistant Dean of the Division of Education, is an Associate Professor of Education. She received her Bachelor of Art Degree in Education from Ohio Dominican University, her Master of Education from University of Dayton and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
Sr. Hohenbrink was a middle school teacher in Ohio for eight years and a principal for three years. Her fields of study include education foundations, administration and early and middle childhood education. Her primary teaching responsibilities are in middle childhood education and she participates in the freshman interdisciplinary core curriculum.
Sr. Hohenbrink serves on the board of trustees for St. Catharine College, St. Catharine, KY and the advisory council for the Columbus Catholic Diocese Department of Education. Her research interests are in mentoring and collaboration. Sr. Hohenbrink has worked at Ohio Dominican University since 1993.
