Special Collections

Rare gems of historical and aesthetic value are stored in the library's special collections located on the Bottom Floor. The glass display cases at the foot of the stairs are sometimes used to showcase highlights from this collection. Be sure to look for the changing works we will have on display.

Among the special collections are:
  • Beautiful bibles and prayer books 
  • Ohio, U.S., and Dominican history books
  • Select books collected and donated by Anne O'Hare McCormick 
  • Select juvenile books collected and donated by Mary Teeter Zimmerman
