Introduction to Special Education and Diverse Learners – EDU 230
Students in the Intervention Specialist, Early Childhood and the Middle Childhood programs work in co-teaching teams, and learn how to teach every student through project-based learning with authentic investigations and interviews/observations with all stakeholders (e.g. students, parents, teachers, aides) in the schools and community about disability and diversity.
Adults with Disabilities – EDU 260
This course provides students with service-learning opportunities to work with adults with disabilities in the Central Ohio area. These experiences include activities such as bowling, creating crafts, book clubs and theater.
