    Students study the complex relationships between the Earth, atmosphere, and living things, with a critical evaluation of the human impact on natural processes. Discover the science behind real world problems facing society and discuss emerging solutions to those problems.

    Food, Water, and Energy – ENV 116L

    This course is a survey of three critical elements of the human environment; food, water and energy. It includes human’s search for necessary quantity of these elements and how their exploitation impacts the environment.

    Applied Sustainability – ENV 279A

    Students discuss what sustainability is, how it is addressed across a range of disciplines, and how we can learn to live sustainably from a local and global perspective.
