Graduates of ODU's Early Childhood Education program can pursue careers in a variety of fields, including:
• Child Care Providers
• Child Advocates Working in Education Related Organizations
• Preschool & Day Care Directors
• Teachers (Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Elementary School)
• Tutors
Students who graduate from this
program will be prepared for.
Ohio license to teach children Age 3 through Grade 3.
Teacher candidates may add the Early Childhood
Generalist Endorsement to teach in Grades 4 and 5.
