Mission

A Chemistry major from Ohio Dominican University will graduate with problem solving and cognitive abilities and is ready to address the scientific issues of an unknown future. With a robust grounding in the core principles of the chemical sciences, our graduates seek the truth and appreciate the qualitative and quantitative elegance of their discipline, and its ever-strengthening connections to other disciplines. They have the intellectual wherewithal and the technological proficiency to allow them to pursue the dynamic truths of nature, as well as possess the literary and verbal skills to present their discoveries in a logical and understandable fashion.
