Mission

The Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) program prepares competent and caring teachers who are capable of meeting the needs of all students, regardless of their cultural or linguistic background. Based on the domains of language, culture, instruction, assessment, and professionalism, the program also prepares students to be consumers and producers of research into the teaching and learning of English. Ohio Dominican’s MATESOL program offers various options, including the MA only, the TESOL Multi-Age License, and/or the TESOL Endorsement.
