It’s the reason we’re all here. Whether you join ODU as an undergraduate, graduate student, or participant in our many special academic programs, you’ll choose from a wide range of subjects that broaden your interests and prepare you for success and lifelong intellectual growth.

    Undergraduate Study

ODU's undergraduate program offers 45 undergraduate majors in five degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Education, Associate of Arts and Associate of Science. Whichever path you choose, you’ll experience a dynamic education that extends well beyond the classroom.

    Graduate Study

ODU’s graduate program offers 11 graduate programs in the liberal arts, theology, education, business, and science. Based on ODU's strong educational values, graduate programs are perfect for your career development goals and can often be planned around full-time working situations.

    Special Academic Programs

Ohio Dominican welcomes learners who seek academic opportunities outside the traditional student experience. Create a narrowly focused, self-defined major, dig deeply into research, or enrich your knowledge by studying abroad.

Our flexible Adult & Continuing Education program is a unique adult-degree business program, that offers a quality education that prepares you for success in today's job market. Classes are offered at ODU's main campus and at our Dublin location. Earn an Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by integrating your work and life experiences in the classroom on your own schedule.

    The Core Curriculum

ODU's Core Curriculum, taken by all undergraduates, is a series of courses that provide a unifying academic experience throughout each student's academic journey. Core enhances your major by asking questions about trust, knowledge, inquiry, and creativity. Graduates tell us it’s one of the aspects of ODU that makes their time here so meaningful.

Every member of ODU’s highly experienced faculty is passionate about seeking and contemplating truth and inspiring students to learn and share this growth. It’s the Dominican way.

At the heart of this process is the Student Engagement Model, which provides a meaningful and consistent framework for program development.

Be prepared to be recognized: Our small classes and intimate atmosphere provide a sense of belonging not commonly found at other universities. Faculty members know our students by name, and every student knows he or she is a top priority.
