  • Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs was established to provide education-based services that support academic success and personal development. Our primary goal is to promote a sense of community that enhances the well-being of all students.

These objectives are achieved through advising sessions, referrals to appropriate offices and sponsorship of campus programming designed to educate and foster the exchange of dialogue in a setting where civility and respect is observed.

In addition to serving as primary point of contact for under represented student populations, this office serves as a clearinghouse for the campus regarding issues impacting multicultural students. We strive to enhance opportunities for educational growth, retention, and successful matriculation of students from diverse backgrounds.

Through sponsorship of lectures, conferences, and a variety of cultural celebrations, we address cultural diversity in a global society.
