    EVENT INFORMATION  

    Where:  ODU Campus

    When:    Saturday, April 20, 2013

                  8:00 AM    Pick up registration packets at Griffin Center

                  8:45 AM    Pre-Race Kickoff

                  9:00 AM    Walk/Run with Thunder

                  9:15 AM    Competitive 5-k run/walk

    Registration includes shirts, bib numbers and swag bags.

    Refreshments after the race.

       

    COURSE MAP: 

    Haven't been back to campus in a few years? Then you are going to love this flat, fast 5k tour of Ohio Dominican's scenic campus and sports complex. This great 5k course is inviting to runners and walkers of all age as well as kids and families! The course will kick off at the west end of the Panther Sports Complex, winding around Panther Parkway. Participants will then traverse campus seeing our newest dormitories and cruising along a beautiful overlook of the Panther Valley Baseball Field before cutting through the heart of campus to see newly built science center Batelle Hall, Sansbury Hall, Erskine Hall, Hamilton Hall, the Spangler Learning Center, and Werhle Art Gallery. Participants are in for a real treat as the final stretch takes you through the Griffin Student Center and Alumni Hall mall area where crowds and live music will keep you churning out mile after mile toward the finish.

     

    (Please note: This unique 5k course includes three full laps around campus. After each participants third lap, they will be directed back down the finish chute toward the line ending at the Griffin Student Center. Course Map Below)

    Early registration begins February 1, $25.00

    Late registration begins March 1, $35.00
